Spring 2019 NY Fashion Week is underway and while we can’t wait to see what the designers have in store for spring, we need to get through fall first. Today we are looking back at some of our favorite trends that the designers showed during their fall/ winter 2018 shows. Our favorite is one that in my opinion never really goes out of style, animal print. Designers such as Balenciaga, Tom Ford, and Calvin Klein all showed a variation of the wild print.
Playful color variations, such as head to toe red leopard print and bright pops of yellow in tights and shoes were front and center at Tom Ford.
A more traditional take on the trend walked the runway at the Calvin Klein Ready to Wear show with this knee-length coat and in their accessories. A variety of prints were used in the Balenciaga collection including this zebra printed dress.
The runway shows are always a fun way to get inspired to be creative with fashion. Our collection of pieces below were curated to provide you with simple ways to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. The pieces selected all are simple styles with classic silhouettes so they pair well with your favorite staple pieces already in your closet, such as a simple solid t-shirt or your favorite jeans.
